I wanted to share with you what the Lord has place on my heart, so that you may be encouraged on this blessed day!
A compass pointer always turns toward magnetic north— no matter which way the box is held. The compass needle tells the truth, even in a storm. This reminds me that the Bible is like that too. It tells us the truth, and then we must adjust our thinking, our heart, and our actions to match.
His Word will always be true… FOREVER! Sometimes in life.. we lose our path that the Lord has set us on, but the Lord always is guiding and directing our steps and He points us back to the truth even in the midst of our storms and bad circumstances.
Just know that His Word is truth and that He keeps His promises. He is a faithful God who is trustworthy. 2 Timothy 2:13 declares, “If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.” Where He guides, He will always provide for His children. His plans are perfect and His purposes for us are sure.
Charles Spurgeon— “God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His heart.”
We must trust His heart. We may not be able to see what journey we are going on, but we have to trust the Lord, because He is good! God’s timing is often different than ours, but His Word is true. He is faithful to do ALL He promises!
We may not be able to see today, how God intends to fulfill His promises and prophecies tomorrow- but we can be certain that He WILL. His Word stands firm and He is faithful to every Word He has spoken.
Our journey with the Lord is all about faith and trust. We have to trust Him, because He will guide us. God’s plans for us are so amazing; we couldn’t even think or imagine them. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Our journey with the Lord is so exciting. It is all about living by faith and trusting the Lord every step of the way. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
The Lord has given us promises in our lives and it is all about having patience and waiting on Him until He wants to fulfill those promises in your life. Our journey with the Lord will make us stronger. If we let Him take all control over our lives, He will make something beautiful out of it.
It will all come to pass just as He promises! He promised to come and redeem us from our sin and He did. He also promises to return and take us to heaven and He WILL. Soon and very soon we’ll be going to see our King.
I encourage you to memorize a Scripture this week. Whatever verse the Lord has placed on your heart.. Believe that verse in your life, because every word in the Bible is true and it is powerful!
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
